Press Releases TOP BANDS FOR “TASTE”

Two highly successful Limestone Coast bands will be the headline acts for the 2017 “Taste the Limestone Coast Festival”, and they will be supported by a number of talented local Naracoorte artists.

Mount Gambier band “Any Other Sunday” is a contemporary covers band with over twenty years combined experience in concerts, functions, weddings and hotel work. Members of the group, Luke Boneham, Johnny Lawler, Dan Moon and Andrew Cowley have recently been very busy performing at the Kongorong Rodeo, Beachport Rock till ya Drop, Xmas Eve at the Grand and the Relay for Life Concert. They play a wide range of popular hits from the 70’s through to today.

Our other feature band is the covers band “Mischief and Mayhem”, also from Mount Gambier. This popular and talented band comprises Bronte Lockwood, Suzanne Panther, Shannon Ryan and Andrew Holliday. The band is highly experienced, with members having previously played in bands such as Wild Card and The Cruisers. Mischief and Mayhem has been the headline act at Mount Gambier’s New Year’s Eve in Vansittart Park for the last three years and last year they were the feature band at the Heywood Wine and Roses Festival. They also play a wide range of music from Paul Kelly, Cold Chisel, AC/DC, through to more recent hits.

Our main bands will be supported by many local musicians, led by singer / musician / songwriter Dennis Edwards. Dennis is very well known locally and he has performed in a wide range of venues. What may not be so well known is his songwriting talent. Dennis is contracted to Paramount in Nashville USA, and they have accepted several of his songs for their recording artists.

Following Dennis, will be a number of local, talented young artists who are currently in the process of audition and selection, so their details will be published on our website ( in the near future.

Any Other Sunday, Mischief and Mayhem, Dennis Edwards and our young musicians will all be new to the Taste Festival, so we welcome them to the best regional wine and food festival and look forward to hearing them on Saturday 11th February in the Naracoorte Town Squares.
